great, but i am glad to be back in my sewing room.
I went to a sewing class last week with a friend and
i figured since i was going to be 'teaching' this fall i should
invest in a carrying case. and you know me, i am anything
but normal, sew i had to pimp it out a little.
This is when my day job comes in handy ;)
(lime green of course). It doesn't really stick all
that well, sew i couldn't turn the corners. i coulda used
a different material.....but that would been $$.
It will just make me be more careful, which is good
for the life of the case, and the machine inside of it :)
and what did i sew in class you ask?
incredibly long zipper. now, its way too small for
me to actually carry, i mean, this thing could barely
hold my sunglasses case, lol, but it was sew much
fun to make! and to hang with my gurl, T.

the pattern is from the booklet Zip and carry bags.
really neat things in there!! i am gonna make a small one
for my BFF.

Oh look how cute! I love what you've done to your carrying case, and that zipper purse is adorable.
This weekend, we hung out with the kids at the fair, then a parade, then I went on a "girl date" with my daughter where we bought cinnamon sugar pretzels, knee-high boots (for her, not me), and nail polish. I wanted the mood nail polish, but she went for the glow-in-the-dark pink with the light-up bottle. I hope your weekend was as good.

Great way to personalize your stuff! I actually just got out of the house for the weekend. I was sick last week and being stuck at home really drives me a bit crazy.
