my goodness, this crap takes forever.
i have 3 more blocks to make for
the SSQA. (i am a wee bit behind.)
The PP is slowing me down. i kept
hoping for a regular one, and then before i
knew it, it was over! this is the last block.
Yeah, i am outta order too. oh well.
looks like i'm gonna be up to my knees in
paper this weekend. ugh. Head down and
power thru.
and you guys have gone far too long
with out a chickie update, so without
further adue:
so far today and still a few left in the
incubator, AND mrs. squishy is setting
now too, so there will be even more adorable
silkie babies on the way....only i won't be
able to get near her's without getting eaten
by mr. squishy. he is one protective daddy.

Cute chickies! They're always so cute when they're little and yellow and fuzzy.
I know you hate paper piecing, but your results are gorgeous. :) Keep going, you can do it!
Don't envy you having to do the paper piecing - do envy you having these little bitty chickies to 'oooh and aaah' over :)
D: thanks!! i know one of my reasons is that i am trying to use up scraps so its like a big puzzle trying to find just the right piece to fit.
and silkie babies are adorable forever :) lol. my sweet little fuzzy butts.
Norma! so your not a fan either? nice :) you would think it would be easier, no? oh well, at least i have learned how to do it (and what not to do, and most importantly to PAY ATTENTION) i can't even tell you how many times i've had to pick out. at least my seam ripper is pretty! i will send your oohhhs and aaahhhs to the babies. its really hard not to squeeze them to pieces. :)
