Mug Rug

ever since Pat's Mug Rugs i've been wanting to
make one for myself for my desk at work, but
its just one of those things you never really think
about/get around to. Mine isn't near as awesome
as her's but it'll do ;) i only had 10 birdies to
fussy cut, so i figured out my pattern which only
needed 9, sew i couldn't let this little guy just
sit all alone in my test block scrap pile, now
could i? It really cheers up my office.
(no, my office is not my front porch
but how awesome would that be?!)

i love the back just as much.
its some fuzzy really old vintage
lime green goodness i had lying
around.

And i have had a lot of requests for a tute on
the pillow i re-created for the contest.
here is the original recipe from the Moda
bakeshop. I assume yall mean the back;
I will post a tute of that hopefully by Friday
for you guys!
